Camron-Stanford House

The Camron-Stanford House is the last of the beautiful 19th century mansions that once surrounded Lake Merritt. In its long life, the house was the private residence of five families instrumental in the development of the City of Oakland and the State of California. In the early 20th century it became the first museum in the City of Oakland.

The information above can be found on the official website of Camron-Stanford House. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://www.cshouse.org/
