These volunteers provide many services such as tutoring children and adults, serving meals to the homeless, and answering telephones for crisis lines. The Center determines the interests and available time of a potential volunteer. A referral is made when both the needs of the volunteer and the agency are met.
The Center works with nonprofit organizations to help them strengthen and expand their volunteer programs. Workshops and consultations are offered throughout the year to provide training in volunteer program development and management.
