Samaritan House

Samaritan House

Samaritan House is a private nonprofit organization providing services to help meet the essential daily needs of more than 12,000 low-income people within San Mateo County, California. We provide an interim “safety net” for individuals and families in need while ultimately helping them move toward self sufficiency.

With the help of more than 2,000 volunteers, we provide food, clothing, shelter, health care, worker resources, and counseling services, all free of charge to our clients. Samaritan House is a community-supported organization with over 68% of our operating budget coming from private groups and individuals.

The information above can be found on the official website of Samaritan House. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://www.samaritanhouse.com
