Haas Center for Public Services

Haas Center for Public Services

The FISP database is an online searchable database containing 525+ fellowships, internships and other established service programs collected from websites and print resources. With a few exceptions, opportunities included in the database meet the following criteria:

  • are public service opportunities
  • are designed as summer or one – two year programs for continuing undergraduates, graduating seniors and recent graduates
  • offer compensation (room and board and/or stipend)*

*many international programs require a participant fee to support program management; we have included programs with a <$1,000 participant cost (not including airfare).

Please note that the Haas Center provides this resource as a service to all college and university students. A listing in this database does not mean that Haas Center staff have direct experience with or professionally endorse the program. In addition, some application opportunities and deadlines may have changed since the database’s last update. It is the responsibility of the applicant to do web-based research and speak with program representatives and former participants before applying. For more information about the opportunities in the database, please contact a representative from the program.

The information above can be found on the official website of Haas Center for Public Services. For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://studentaffairs.stanford.edu/haas/students/fellowships-database
