Boys Hope Girls Hope of San Francisco Bay Area

Boys Hope Girls Hope is a nationally operated non-profit. Since 1977, Boys
Hope Girls Hope has been a college preparatory and life enrichment program
that serves academically motivated youth in situations of significant
need. All of our students come from families living at or below the
poverty line, and all of our collegians are the very first in their
families to go to college.

Boys Hope Girls Hope of San Francisco Bay Area, an Affiliate of the
National Organization, was established in 2000 and, while following the
policies and guidelines of the national BHGH model, operates as a separate
organization. As such, our program and outreach reflects the social,
cultural and spiritual diversity of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Through our community-based program, we provide academic support and
enrichment through a nurturing and structured environment as well as
consistent and comprehensive care. This approach maximizes their chances
for a successful journey to — and through — college.

We believe by providing children with holistic arms-around care, safe
environments, a first-class education, and opportunities to learn more
about themselves and the world, we prepare students for college, career,
and life.
