ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF AMADOR VALLEY (A.L.A.V.), a chapter of National Assistance League, is a non-profit organization whose members volunteer to support, administer, and serve specific community needs, through philanthropic projects.

Classifications of Membership

ACTIVE MEMBER

TO BECOME AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF A.L.A.V.:
  1. Contact an active member for sponsorship, any time of the year.
  2. Attend a new member coffee and/or informational meeting.
AS AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF A.L.A.V. YOU WOULD:
  1. Pay $45.00 membership dues yearly.
  2. Attend monthly Chapter meetings, the 3rd Thurs. evening August through June.
  3. Serve 40 hrs of volunteer time by:

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

AN ACTIVE MEMBER CAN BECOME ASSOCIATE BY:
  1. Paying $100.00 dues annually
  2. May not vote or hold any office.
  3. Participates in activities of Chapter as able.

CHAPTER HISTORY

The local Chapter ofNational Assistance League was formed in 1990. A.L.A.V. started with 40 charter members and has grown to over 86 women from PIeasanton, Livermore, Dublin and San Ramon.

NATIONAL ASSISTANCE LEAGUE MISSION

A volunteer organization dedicated to promoting effective volunteerism through education, service, leadership development and financial responsibility.
