Alameda Backyard Growers (ABG)

Alameda Backyard Growers (ABG) is a community-wide network of gardeners in Alameda, California. We grow food in our own yards and donate extra fruit and vegetables to the Alameda Food Bank. In the process, we get to know our neighbors, have fun, share information and resources, and ‘Grow community, one veggie at a time’.

Participation is free and open to all residents of Alameda and the surrounding area. There are no charges for ABG-sponsored events. Gardeners of all experience levels are welcome! ABG is a volunteer-run organization supported by donations and in-kind contributions from local supporters.

The information above can be found on the official website of Alameda Backyard Growers (ABG). For more details about the organization and to find out how you can volunteer, please visit their website: http://www.alamedabackyardgrowers.org/
